Shaman Class Overview for WoW Gold Hunters Part 2
We’ll be giving the spotlight to the Shaman class for the second time around! As mentioned previously, shamans are a hybrid class and can specialize in offensive spellcasting, melee damage, or healing. It is considered to be one of the most adaptable and versatile classes in World of Warcraft. Shamans provide group support in the form of stationary totems that can buff party members and deal damage to enemies. Find out more for your WoW gold hunter account in the article below!
More about the Shaman Class: A Background for Wow Gold Hunters
The shaman is a master of elements—capable of summoning totems that will buff his or herself and their allies. Totems range from healing and mana to powerful elemental destruction. Shamans can fill either of the three roles: caster, melee DPS, or healer. Each role has a specific and unique playstyle, and is focused around some awesome game mechanics. Melee shamans, for instance, have Enhanced Weapons (previously Windfury) which allows your main-hand weapon to attack up to three times each strike, while your off-hand deals additional fire damage. In other words, shamans are gods of burst damage, with each damage spec focused on dealing a lot of straight up-front damage, whereas healing as a Shaman is about passive healing and efficient use of spells.
Elemental Shamans for WoW Gold Hunters
Elemental shamans are spell casters who utilize the destructive forces of nature and the elements and bend these according to their will. Their stat priorities are:
- Haste (single target) / Critical Strike (AoE)
They perform decently in both single target and multiple target instances with a skill set that is easy to understand and to master. They also excel at burst damage. Additionally, their wide array of useful abilities supported by their totems help significantly in any raid.
Enhancement Shamans for WoW Gold Hunters
The main difference of enhancement shamans from elemental shamans, though both utilizing elemental power, is that the former strike foes with weapons imbued with the elements. They’re also known as totemic shamans. Their stat priorities are:
- Critical Strike
Enhancement shamans have a unique play style which combines melee attacks and spell casting. Kind of like the ‘battle mage archetype’. As an enhancement shaman, you will always favor being in melee range, but you can also cast various abilities at range. Once armed with a powerful melee weapon—which you can get when you buy WoW gold—enhancement shamans can prove to be formidable opponents. Enhancement shamans also have great self-healing capabilities. In terms of AoE damage, they also perform quite decently, as expected of one of the most versatile classes.
Restoration Shamans for WoW Gold Hunters
Restoration shamans are healers who call upon the ancestral spirits and the cleansing power of water to mend their allies’ wounds. They are the support spec of the shaman class. The restoration shamans’ stat priorities are:
- Multistrike / Critical Strike
Note that the potential of a restoration shaman is optimized when it comes to healing grouped or stacked players. They are very good tank healers. However, they do lack the necessary tools for healing spread out groups as efficiently as the other support classes have. They are worthy additions to any raid with their wide array of useful abilities, especially with their Spirit Link Totem.
