WoW Mounts: The Good, The Bad, and The Warcraft Movie
WoW Mounts – Faith in Humanity: Restored!
We often hear of people talk about their daughters on how they like barbies, baking, makeup, and want to be princesses, queens, and whatever else that’s girly when talking about dressing up. This guy’s daughter, on the other hand, is way more into the high fantasy setting of Warcraft and wanted to dress like an orc. Specifically, Garona Halforcen.
This cute little picture is from a certain reddit poster talking about how he and his daughter prepared to watch the Warcraft movie. Frankly, this is parenting done right; he’s not the type of parent to force their kid to dress up in something that would be more “fitting” for girls her age. Hey, if she wants to dress up as a half orc assassin, then by all means, she should be able to.
These days, people are becoming more and more open to flexible and malleable ideas for how their kids should live their lives. This dad is taking the step in a right direction. I’m not saying that it’s bad for little girls to like the old fashioned stuff like pink and princesses, but they certainly are not limited to those and those alone.
The Warcraft movie, regardless of what the critics say about it, is not only a good movie, but is bringing out the best in people due to the unity gamer folk and fantasy enthusiasts have in appreciation for an epic like this. It’s not the most perfect movie, sure, but it certainly has a lot of good points too.
Aaaaannndd… Now it’s Destroyed
But not all is peppermint-sweet in relation to the Warcraft movie. A man had gotten beaten up in Warcraft’s film premier in China as this
asshat person decided to cosplay as Garen from League of Legends and yell out “Demacia!”, Garen’s overused catchphrase, and promptly got the living hell beaten out of him by a couple of hardcore Warcraft fans.
As much as I dislike the casual troll, he still has a right to say whatever the hell he wants and shouldn’t have been crapped on like that. Just when I was about to have my faith restored in Warcraft fans by virtue of the father and his daughter above, these other fools snatch it away just as quickly. I do hope, at the very least, that Demacia freak dropped at least a few good WoW mounts and WoW armor.
