WoW Gold Farming: Old Instances
There once was a time that the best bet to farm tons of WoW gold was to solo old content from previous expansions, raids especially. I used to rake in two to four thousand gold per character just rummaging through Wrath of the Litch King, Burning Crusade, and even Vanilla raids. But, of course, Blizzard had to go ruin the fun by nerfing the base WoW gold drops from each boss, especially the last boss in every instance. In case you were wondering, yes, the last boss always drops the most gold.
But it isn’t over yet! Even today, you can still get a respectable amount of WoW gold by still running those same, old instances. While the base gold from bosses was nerfed, the various gear drops still sell for a decent price at any vendor. Per raid that you can solo in this Warlords of Draenor landscape, you can get at least 400 gold per raid, depending on the drops. All it takes is a little patience, perseverance, and thirst for all that WoW gold.
Buy WoW Gold: Onyxia’s Lair
I’m going to start off this raid tour with Onyxia, the awesomely awesome black dragon of WoW fame. At level 100, she’s pretty easy to solo, but if you aren’t decently geared, she can still be a challenge. For certain classes, she’s just an absolute bore. Her fear spell is the only thing you have to watch out for because, combined with the multiple adds that spawn, they can hurt you pretty bad if you don’t take them down all at once. You either have multiple CC breaks, protection from fear like the one found on priests, or obscene burst damage to phase her through. The aoes aren’t a problem, however, as they do only minimal damage.
Her second phase can get pretty annoying for melee characters because she flies up into the air and is unable to be targeted until she gets to a specific percentage of her health. You really have no choice but to start throwing whatever long range skill you have to whittle her HP down. Casters (and hunters lol) will certainly have no problem in this phase.
On her third phase, when she drops down, that’s when she starts casting fear like crazy. Adds will continue to spawn all throughout the encounter and you mustn’t at all forget them because they will hurt you in large numbers. It’s even possible for level 100s to die here if you’re undergeared and/or not too careful.
But once she’s downed, collect whatever WoW gold she drops and take everything else to vend and transmog. This instance doesn’t give much WoW gold, to be honest, but the biggest prize here is item, Reins of the Onyxian Drake. Of course, it isn’t a sure thing, but if you do manage to net it, you could even go on an decide to sell your WoW account for some nice, real life moolah. The Onyxian Drak, on its own, can fetch a pretty nice price.
There are a lot more raids that I’ll be writing on, so be sure to bookmark the site to find out more on other instances and how to solo them faster, easier, and better.
