Molten Core Guide for Seasoned WoW Account Holders Part 4
Acknowledged as the pinnacle of raiding achievement, the Molten Core enticed WoW account holders to enter the instance in the search of challenges, treasures, and glory. The Molten Core is a Level 60 raid dungeon located within the heart of Blackrock Mountain, home to Ragnaros the Firelord. It was one of two forty-player raid dungeons available upon release of World of Warcraft, with the other being Onyxia’s Lair. Read the article below for the guide.
Adjusting your Raid Group for WoW Account Holders
No man is an island. The same idea applies when clearing a dungeon as massive as the Molten Core. You can’t run through this heinous raid without a balanced raid group. What does it mean to have a ‘balanced’ raid group, anyway? Ideally, you should have 5 of each class available to you, for a total of 40 raid members. You are free to shuffle people around based on availability and preference, but try to stick to that as a general formula if you wish to clear the Molten Core easily. Get all of these WoW account holders attuned and geared, then agree upon a time. You’ll need several hours where everyone can be there to really progress. Although the raid timer system means you don’t need to run the entire instance in one sitting, you’ll incur a substantial penalty by re-clearing to whatever boss you left off on.
Patching Up for WoW Account Holders
This should go almost without saying: bring consumables on your WoW account – always. Everyone in the raid should have 300 FA and a stack of bandages to avoid being stuck in a rut with below 40 health. Everyone should have potions as well: Major Healing for just about anyone, and Major Mana if applicable. Greater Dreamless Sleep is worth considering, but it won’t be of much use in the Molten Core due to the encounter design.
Buffing Up for WoW Account Holders
Other things worth considering are whatever food is the most useful for your class (+12 STA/SPI, Nightfin Soup, etc.), Night Dragon’s Breath, and Whipper Root Tuber (since these don’t share the potion cooldown), and other types of buffs you can get, including flasks and Blasted Lands buffs for your WoW account.
